ANNUAL SECONDHAND TACK SALE

9779 TOWNE ROAD, CARMEL, INDIANA 46032

Saturday, OCTOBER 5, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, OCTOBER 6, 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Suggested Items to Sell: Grooming equipment, jumps, jump vests, leg protection, Western and English saddles (all types), training aids, halters, bits, bridles, blankets, hoods, sheets, pads, boots, books, video's, art work, barn stuff, (only clean and repaired) CURRENT clothing will be accepted (please no shirts from the 70's), gloves, hats, breeches, hay nets, jewelry. We also have room for three horses and several horse trailers. Please call for  special arrangements to be made.

To participate:

1.      Your items to sell must be CLEAN. Repairs should be made if necessary.

2.      Your items must be TAGGED. Included in your contributor's packet this year will be a set of tags and instructions for filling them out.

3.      DROP-OFF: Please call or email Lisa or Michelle with your address prior to the drop-off days. We will send you a packet with a blank inventory list and a release.

4.      Fees: There is a $15 fee to cover advertising and setup costs.  This fee is non-refundable. In addition, a 10% commission will be charged to all people selling at least $20 in merchandise. If you sell less than $20, the commission will be waived. The week AFTER the sale, a check for the items sold less a 10%
commission will be sent to you.

5.      All types of saddles will be gladly accepted, but each contributor will be limited to 2. Please no saddles priced at over $800.00

6.      Any unsold items must be picked up within one week following the sale. Any items left after this point will become the property of the Annual Secondhand Tack Sale.

7.      We have never had a problem with theft or security, but keep in mind we will not be responsible for stolen or damaged items. 

If you have lots of things to sell, please do not wait until the last minute to bring them. The earlier the better. The Annual Tack Sale has been a huge success in the past, with some contributors making several hundred dollars.

Directions:

From the West side of Indy-

Take the Michigan Rd. (421) exit North. At the first light (96^th) turn and go East. At the first stop sign (Towne Rd.) go North – 9779 is the second drive on the right – look for two brick lamp posts.

From the East side of Indy-

Take the Meridian Street (31) Exit South. At the first light (96^th) turn and go West (look for McDonalds) Pass, Springmill stop, and the Ditch Rd. stop. At Towne Rd. turn and go North. Go to second drive on right 9779 – look for two brick lamp posts.
