Sarah Hale

Sarah Hale just started training with Lee Ann in Spring 2002. Sarah's 18 & a freshman at Purdue University majoring in Biology. She's been riding since she was 7 & is a C3 pony clubber & Area VIII Young Rider. She's been eventing with her Belgian draft cross, Ollie, since she was 11, but poor Ollie just has a hard time trying to do Training. So Sarah purchased a new upper level hopeful, Maddy, just 2 weeks before leaving for college. Maddy got to go to college, too. Ollie is staying at home with Mom who is trying to keep him in shape so he can have fun & compete at Novice next season. They're looking forward to a great 2003

(Right) Here's Sarah on her faithful novice "pony", Oliver Twist. They've been a team for 8 years. Ollie's the closest thing to a puppy you can have in an event horse. (Below) Sarah on her new purchase, Maddy (aka Wild Honey), at Jump Start 2002. This was their 1st show as a team & also their 1st XC course together. Nothing like on the job training, but they had a wonderful go.
